The Brookline Paddle Club was formed in 2011 through a grassroots effort lead by a group of local platform tennis enthusiasts and with the support of a grant from the American Platform Tennis Association (APTA).  Strong membership and the APTA support have allowed the club to undertake a full refurbishing of the platform tennis courts at Pine Manor College and to establish the Club to promote growth and participation in the sport of platform tennis locally.

  • We are a member-run club. As the nature of a grassroots effort, we rely on the involvement and participation of our members to promote the club, maintain the facilities, and organize events.
  • We are the only platform tennis club in the Boston and Boston Metrowest region accessible to the public for a modest annual membership fee.
  • Members perform the majority of the maintenance.  We do our best to react quickly to anything that needs attention to limit court down time.
  • Most club events depend on volunteer members to arrange and run them.  Ideas include mixed doubles events, men’s and women’s ladders, father/son and mother/daughter events, and clinics with a pro.

Thank you and we look forward to another great season of paddle!
