Club Championship Series

Welcome to the 2023 BPC Championship Series Tournament

Our goal is to have fun, competitive paddle that the entire membership can watch, play, and enjoy together as a club.

Below you will find tournament rules and Series qualifications for our club tournament as well as the details for each specific Championship Series.

General Rules:

  • The BPC Club Championship Series is open to every active BPC member.
  • Registration and details for each series are open now on the BPC website and close Friday, February 3rd.
  • Qualification for each series is based on your Paddle Tennis Index score (PTI) at time of registration, however a member without a PTI can still participate and will be assigned a starting PTI.
  • Match results will not affect a player’s overall PTI rating and scores will not be submitted for PTI purposes.
  • This is a single-elimination, rolling tournament and teams will schedule their own matches within a defined time frame starting early-February with the championship matches for all series held during our club’s end of year celebration on April Fool’s Day!
  • A player may compete in only one of the A, B, C Series, however players may also compete in Mixed Doubles if they qualify.  Teams can be comprised of men, women, or mixed in any Series.
  • All matches are best out of 3 sets and follow the standard league rules regarding play and tie break, etc.
  • Each Series will have its own Director who will be the main point of contact to report results and for any related questions or scheduling issues. Details for your Series including match deadline dates will be emailed to you by your Director.
  • This is a rolling tournament and you should be available to play at least one match within every 10 days or so. If you will be away or unable to play for an extended period of time (more than 14 days) through February or March, please consider whether you should register to play.
  • If you are a finalist you will be expected to play the first weekend of April, so don’t be a fool and book something else.
